STIMS Overview
The Datasys Season Ticket Information
Management System (STIMS) has been developed to provide Train
Operating Companies (TOC’s) with the information they
need to manage key customer relations effectively.
STIMS will improve the efficiency of staff in dealing with
the key Season Ticket Holder customers. STIMS automates the
update and maintenance of Customer and Transaction information
for Season Ticket Holders. All Season Ticket transactions
are catered for within STIMS, in-line with the Retail Guide
and National Fares Manual and all relevant RSP documentation
is produced, completed where appropriate. Staff are assisted
in the allocation of discounts/lost days for service performance/reliability
penalties/service disruption.
For marketing, STIMS provides an invaluable link between
the transaction and the customer. STIMS can assist in the
retention of this key customer sector, and can provide information
directly for marketing initiatives or for use by other CRM
programs.
STIMS also provides key financial trend information, and
detailed costs relating to service failure/disruption.
STIMS is a web-enabled program that is deployed across the
corporate Intranet, it utilises world-leading Oracle database
technology. STIMS can also be integrated with retail systems. |
